Methodist College Summer Poetry Contest Begins July 8

It's time to get those creative juices flowing! Participate in the annual Methodist College Summer Poetry Contest this July! Create a great poem, and win a book voucher to purchase textbooks for fall.

All poems must be original student work. Each student may submit one poem. Emailed submissions must be sent to the Library or CSS. Please email Joel Shoemaker or Tricia Fox  between July 8 - August 8. 

Work will be judged on creativity, language quality, and originality of theme. Prizes will be awarded prior to the start of the fall semester.

• First place - $100
• Second place - $75
• Third place- $50

Winning poems may be published in the MC newsletter or another college venue. Visit the library or CSS D2L site for details and official rules.
