The Higher Education Opportunity Act (Public Law 110-315) (HEOA) of 2008, a reauthorization of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA) requires institutions of higher education to make available to employees, and prospective and current students, information including but not limited to financial assistance opportunities, graduation rates, student loan default rates, crime statistics, campus safety programs, policies related to alcohol and illegal drugs, and average student indebtedness.
